Topflight Corp was founded in the United States in 1943. It began as a small engineering workshop manufacturing components for fighter aircraft. To simplify the assembly and identification of aircraft parts, the company developed a system for printing component identification on self-adhesive materials. After the Second World War, demand for labels increased and the business became increasingly focused on printing and graphic production.
Topflight Sverige AB was established in Åstorp in 1989, with Topflight Corp as one of its shareholders. The business grew rapidly and moved to its current premises in Ängelholm in 1994. Since 2012, the company has been owned by Indutrade, an international industrial group comprising more than 200 subsidiaries worldwide.
