History

Topflight Corporation was founded in 1943 in the United States. Initially it was a small machining workshop that manufactured components for warplanes. To facilitate the assembly and identification of the various parts of the plane, a system was developed for printing component identifiers on self-adhesive material. After the end of World War II, the demand for labels grew and the business gradually shifted its focus to label printing and production.

In 1989, Topflight Sverige AB was founded in Åstorp. Partly owned at the time by Topflight Corporation, the Swedish business grew quickly and in 1994 moved to its current premises in Ängelholm.

Since 2012, the company has been in the ownership of Indutrade, an industrial group with 200 subsidiaries worldwide. Although Topflight Corporation in the U.S. no longer holds any stock in the company, we continue to work closely together on technical matters and materials development.
